Basingstoke to Bern 24 hour virtual bike ride challenge
Clarke & Son are proud to be embarking on a 24-hour virtual cycle ride to raise money for Victoria's Promise.
Victoria’s Promise is a charity dedicated to empowering young women and their families affected by cancer, providing emotional and physical support through various services and community initiatives.
The ride will see us cover 865km to Bern in Switzerland over a 24 hour period starting on Friday 30th January at 10.30.
Anything you can donate to our cause will be gratefully received – and you are welcome to take part or come along to the office to show your support!

The Ride
2 riders on stationary bikes will cycle the combined total distance of 865 km. The route will be split into the following 12 segments:

| 3 | Folkestone → Calais (France) | 55 km | |
| 4 | Calais → Arras | 110 km | |
| 5 | Arras → Saint-Quentin | 70 km | |
| 6 | Saint-Quentin → Reims | 120 km | |
| 7 | Reims → Châlons-en-Champagne | 50 km | |
| 8 | Châlons-en-Champagne → Troyes | 110 km | |
| 9 | Troyes → Dijon | 150 km | |
| 10 | Dijon → Dole | 50 km | |
| 11 | Dole → Pontarlier | 90 km | |
| 12 | Pontarlier → Bern (Switzerland) | 80 km |

There are multiple ways that you can show your support and get involved:
Be a headline sponsor
We are looking for a £250 donation towards our fundraising target.
In return you will be one of 4 main sponsors – receiving your logo on our challenge t-shirts and website, and lots of promotion through the various activities that we will run up-to and on the day. We will of course display a banner for your organisation (if you have one) in the room where the challenge takes place.
Sponsor a segment
For a £100 donation towards our fundraising target you can sponsor one of the route segments.
In return you will be one of 12 segment sponsors and will receive your logo on our website and lots of promotion through the activities we run up-to and on the day. We will also display a banner for your organisation (if you have one) in the room where the challenge takes place for the duration of your sponsored segment.
Ride the bike
We are seeking keen cyclists to come along and take part – everyone is welcome, and you can choose how long you would like to ride for.
It costs only a £50 donation per individual to join in and help us reach our virtual destination.
