Amrit Sangha

I am a Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department at Clarke and Son, having qualified in 2025.

I joined the firm in May 2023 as a Paralegal, having graduated from Cardiff University in 2022 with a first-class degree in Law, and completed my training contract with the firm.

My primary focus is on mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on both buy-side and sell-side matters throughout the transaction lifecycle, from initial due diligence and deal structuring through to completion and post-completion matters. This includes advising on share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, disclosure letters, and ancillary transaction documents.

A substantial part of my transactional work involves conducting legal due diligence from a buy-side perspective, and managing data rooms and responding to due diligence enquiries on sell-side matters. I also advise on a broader range of corporate and commercial matters, including company restructures, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts.

My work also encompasses corporate governance matters, including preparing board minutes and resolutions, as well as drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements and other transactional documentation.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the gym, and shopping!
