Litigation
As head of the Litigation Department I specialise personally in commercial litigation, business disputes and employment. I am also a Notary Public, which involves verification of international documentation, for example in relation to property sale or acquisition abroad.
I originate from the Manchester area moving south to study law at Kingston in 1968. I completed my training in Southampton and my final exams at the College of Law, Guildford. I have practiced in Surrey and Hampshire, running my own practice for 10 years. I joined Clarke & Son in 1999 to specialise in litigation becoming a partner in 2001.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, The Notaries Society and The Law Society Dispute Resolution Section. I also believe it is important to contribute to the local community and attend the Citizen's Advice Bureau to offer free legal sessions to members of the public. I regularly attend Chamber of Commerce networking meetings.
I live in southern Hampshire, close to the New Forest and have three sons. I enjoy cinema, the performing arts, travelling and socialising with friends.
